Right on the heels of Black History Month comes Women’s History Month.
The theme of Women’s History Month 2022 is “Providing Healing, Promoting Hope.” This is both a tribute to the ceaseless work of caregivers and frontline workers during this ongoing pandemic and a recognition of the thousands of ways women of all cultures have provided both healing and hope throughout history.
Women have historically led the way in mending divisions, healing wounds, and finding peaceful solutions. This year in particular, we are reminded of the importance of healers and caregivers who are helping to promote and sustain hope for the future.
Lets celebrate and honor these magnificent women among us, who continue to contribute these priceless gifts to their families, workplaces, and neighborhoods, sometimes at great sacrifice. Honor female artists and creatives, learn about female innovators and women inventors throughout history, explore actions to improve gender equality at your company, buy from and support women-owned businesses.
