Terri helps leaders and their teams use conflict as a catalyst for growth and Grounded Spirit Coaching offering intuitive coaching and healing to help people find their balance, connection and purpose. She is the co-Founder of the Changemaker Collective, an online community for designed for women currently engaging in change-making, justice-seeking, and transformative work. She has served as the Executive Director of six nonprofits in three states. For more than 25 years, she has provided training, coaching, program development, and strategic planning to thousands of individuals and organizations across the globe. She brings a trauma-informed and asset-based lens to all her work.
Terri’s passion for justice led her to a career working with sexual assault and domestic violence survivors directly after completing her Master of Theological Studies in Feminist Theology. After working as a trauma therapist with survivors and perpetrators of violence for a decade, she moved into nonprofit management and systems-change to make a more comprehensive impact on this social issue.
As a former professional dancer, instructor, and performer, Terri published an instructional DVD that was distributed internationally. Terri created the Beyond Dance Business Academy serving 3,000 dance professionals across the world with live and on-demand training and coaching. She also hosted live monthly “Ask an Expert” conversations about racism and cultural appropriation.
Terri is a sought-after speaker, trainer and coach focusing on areas including leadership, communicating in conflict, team building, creating a trauma-informed workplace and
psychological safety in the workplace. Terri is a skilled facilitator who blends her warm nature and sense of humor with her extensive expertise.
When Terri isn’t working, you can find her looking for seashells with her family, creating pottery or snuggling with her dogs at home.
